Podcast for Wednesday, May 31, 2006 - Chris Evans
I am joined in the studio by digital effects artist, Chris Evans, who tells us a little bit about what it's like to be a digital effects artist in the 21st century (whatever the hell that means, I still don't know). We also reminisce about our weekend trip to Idaho for the wedding of our friends Bill Hader and Maggie Carey.
Tami Sagher is my in-studio guest, we dish about her torrid experiences at Second City in Chicago, as well as the National Touring Company. We review our history together, spanning nearly five weeks and our discovery that Bob's Big Boy in Burbank is not the up-all-night establishment it claims to be. We also discuss my three-legged dog, Lucky.
Eric returns from yet another hiatus, this time flying solo. He updates his audience on what he's been up to, wishes everyone (applicable) a Happy Mother's Day and discusses the pimple on his eye.
Nadia Bacon returns to the studio to discuss her stand up comedy career and her deep self-hate, rooted in the pain of growing up ugly. Also, she explains her actions in deciding not attend her own birthday party. In addition, she clears up any rumors about her stance on abortion.
Eric returns from his hiatus in his brand new studios in Culver City. His guest is stand up comic, Nadia Bacon. Nadia and Eric discuss relationships in the age of information and also racism. Nadia also attempts to explain her strange fascination with the Lifetime Television Made-For-TV-Movie, "For One Night", starring Raven-Symone.
